Q: What are these red icons above kings and leaders?[]

A: Those are plots (or plans). It means that a unit is planning to start something like a war or an alliance[]

Q: What is a level?[]

A: As a unit levels up their stats will increase. For more info see the Unit Levels page[]

Q: How do settlers start wars?[]

A: There are several ways wars start, manually a user could use the inspiration tool or set kingdoms close to each other's borders. You can also use the war tool in the civilizations menu. For more info on wars see the War page[]
